I mean clicking the status in the dashboard:

Then typing in what you want:
[Image: editingstatus.jpg]

[Image: editingstatus.jpg]

And having this as the final result:
[Image: finalstatus.jpg]

[Image: finalstatus.jpg]

Doing this could also automatically add this as a personal status. Obviously a limited one with no 'message' or timer or anything.
