Well true. But only when he/she opens a convo with the wrong person AND starts typing at least 1 character AND the other person happens to have a convo window open with that user so he/she will actually see the "user is typing" message, or the user has some protocol sniffing tool.
I'd just consider that a user error
. If the user is too lazy to read to who the message will be sent before typing then they user should face consequences
