MSN Messenger versions until Windows Live Messenger 8.1 all install in the MSN Messenger directory of your Program Files. Windows Live Messenger 8.5 and above install in Windows Live\ Messenger. Apply this knowledge to the posts above and you should be able to install two different versions of Messenger
