This can be done (at least on 8,5) by right clicking a contact name and clicking on "Add a nickname"... You can use Plus! tags too...
About the first one, I've requested it one time... But no script was made (at least I din't see anything).. And, in part of Plus!, one time Patchou have said that he'll not copy features of others addons (or something like that)...

um, thats not the thing he wants..
He wants, a script that allows you to click the name to edit it, same as the personal message..instead of opening the options to edit the name..
Isn't there a way to force stuffplug 3 on to 8.5?
