waiting sucks, tv and film industry needs to realise world wide release needs to be happening.
Sometimes it is physically impossible, they said on the official lost podcast a while ago, that sometimes the episodes would come in from post production mere hours from the airtime.
Although, Sky and Channel 4 are pretty good in the UK, as there is usually only a few days delay between the episode airing in america and airing in the UK.
A few days is fine, but when they release things months after the American(or whatever the primary country is) release it's not really acceptable in this day and age, it's just a marketing scheme. Lost is good, it comes on Sky, I think, 2 days after the American showing. If people could follow in their footsteps it'd be great. They wouldn't loose so many viewers if they did(ie, people can wait 2 days to watch something and not download it)

What if the cast are busy doing other jobs at the time? The lead character could be ill, on paternity leave etc etc.
It doesn't matter what there doing there on a contract. Fair enough if there ill but were paying for something thats not there. One of the reasons i got sky it because i watch 24.
