Never said I was surprised.. Even had a spare E6600 for when it did die. Which is why I say "Don't overclock unless you understand the risks and are ready to fork out for a new CPU when it suddenly dies". Have you stress tested your CPU and GPU yet..? If you plan on running it at 3.6ghz full time I suggest you leave it stressed for an hour or 2 atleast to test it out.
