EDIT: I would remove or roll back the effects of that registry file of your's before attempting to fix your problem. Leaving it in place could hinder you.

It seemed to be a corrupted download, so clearing the temp files did the trick (still need to test some things).
Also, regarding the reg file, i believe it was the exact same as what i had before, but i made a backup of it just in case so i will use that now.
