webcam is coming up with a white screen...

O.P. webcam is coming up with a white screen...
Every time some of my mates send me there webcam,as soon as it works,its just showing a white screen and i can't see them,but it works with other ppl just not some of them.
can some one tell me why? or how i can fix it??
