There is no solution yet, but within the last 3 days a lot of people are suddenly all reporting this same kind of problem. We are trying to find the cause, you could be a lot of help:

thanks for the detailed report. In the latest update of Messenger Plus!, it's mostly the setup that was modified. The fact that we're using the newest version of Visual Studio may be a factor for this problem though.
The easiest thing for me to do is to work directly with the people who experience the issue. If you see some, please ask them to send an email to support@msgpluslive.net with a quick explanation of what they're experiencing. I'll send them a debug version and I'll be able to work on a possible fix from there.
