I just use Norton's firewall and that solved all my problems Windows firewall didnt really work much for me. I recommend nortan antivirus 2005. Works really good havent had a virus since i started using it.
Setup your router using TCP/IP settings you will have to go into your router and find out the default gateways and stuff like that tho
