O.P. Graphics Programs, what are you using?
Hidy hey, i'm pretty fluent in using macromedia fireworks. but i'm almost too aware that adobe photoshop would be a better program.
just wondering what everyone else uses.
i tried out photoshop once but it was so fustrating looking for fireworks functions. i felt like an ameteur lol. are the benefits worth the effort, or are they simmilar programs?

Adobe Photoshop 7.0, I have Fireworks, I prefer it for cartoon type work, as the outcomes of it are more cartoon style than anything.

the old ones were just so tedious. fireworks was pretty easy to learn, as soon as u figure out the general layout, and what does what, everything just suddenly falls into place and fluency prevails.
doesn't photoshop have WAY more filters etc?

back in the old days i used to use microsoft word to create gradients, and peice graphics together using mspaint. that really forces you to learn allot. and microsoft photo editor for added effects and colour filtering. I figured out some lush techniques, made me feel quite proud to get such nice images without an actual graphics program.
