Hiya all,
Accosianaly when i switch on my pc it goes beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep then restarts and it will keep doing this till i shut it down.
tis pissing me off as it is about the 7th time nd it takes ages to fix

Take a look at your motherboard manual. The back of it should have a guide to beeps.

Havn't got one

Search the internet for it then, it should be available.

This problem, as Ddunk said, is very likely an error that your motherboard is telling you about by making this noise. However it may be something as simple as if you have an external graphics card (in a PCI slot) that it needs to be secured; if you have an external graphics card (in a PCI slot) take it out and put it back in.

Nope I dont I have a gpu in the agp slot
I have a network card in the pci slot though!

take the little battery out of the motherboard and then out it back it.

because it helps.  everytime that happens to me i just take it out and it works.  it resets it.

its not just the clock, its also for all your bios/cmos settings.
