O.P. Network problems
Seems my computer refuses to connect to the network despite it having a working network card and the network cables being in full working order

Tried re-formatting hard drive then reinstalling everything and going through network setup again

Any ideas what to do?

RE: Network problems
Any errors on the PC like "network cable unplugged"? type 'ipconfig /all' into command prompt and make sure you have an IP etc.

Paste results into here if need be.

It has the icon at the bottom and says it's connected at 10m/bits per second, but I know that 10 m/bits per second means it isn't connected at all

RE: Network problems
If it is possible unplug the cable from your PC and the Router and swap the ends.

So the end that was in the Router now goes to your PC and vice versa.
