That would suck... people could edit as much as they want to get unfair attention for their threads.

And when people like me who refresh the Latest Posts page often see your thread at the top and click on it, they will be annoyed that there isn't actually anything new to read.

on then what about a Reminder option, with different criterias (options) like Not recognized , No answer, No solution. and you can add this to the Rules so if someone  make a reminder for his post and choose for example No answer and that wasn't true, then he is breaking the rules just like a double post.
