dreamhost.com!
Coupon code: nosetupwj gets you free setup
Dreamhost is not good for forum hosting or a MSIG... U'll hyave to pay to get transfered to a server that can handle it...
But I don't know if they have changed.
what?! dreamhost is plenty powerful enough to handle a forum, and they're not going to make you pay to move to a better server...

It depends on the plan you get
you can get the domain only
or domain + hosting
like get the domain[buy it] and some free hosting from someone on the forums for free

One thing I don't understand... n00bish question i know...
Registering a domain on dreamhost will be just the 'name' or would i have also some space for website hosting?
Registering the domain would just mean that the domain name is yours now. There's no hosting with it, so you can use it however you like. If you sign up for Dreamhost web hosting, you get one free domain registration anyway.
