In his example comparisons, he removed 8 buttons though. Might be that not all of them cause that? I don't use the skin myself or I'd test.

Restoring them would bring the Messenger Plus! icons back.

how about remove the compact/complete view button, email button and remove "connect to..." bar ;}



The last is a feature of a-patch, it was disabled cause of the skin. It will be perfect if u can bring the last or all feature to this addon ^^ I will make the conctact list more compact xD

For 1.04, I'll fix the problem with disappearing conversation window Plus! buttons, and will try to add the old emoticons back, as well as an option to choose between the old style Plus! buttons [the colorful ones from 4.x] and new style [the blue "!" set from 5.x]

Update
Found the button that causes it all: activating "Remove email button" [this appears whenever a contact is offline/invisible] removes those plus! buttons. Also interesting to notice there's where those buttons were inserted
