I use WMP 9...
I like it..
One time I uopdated to 10 just to see how it was... Don't liked it (sounds strange... don't know..) and have problems to come back to 9...

I normally use Windows Media Player 11, but periodically Real Player for no apparent reason

Zune Marketplace for music because I have a zune and zune zune pass (although its not that good, family member works for MS ) , VLC media player for everything else.

Used to use Winamp until I discovered foobar2000 - configuration up to the yingyang - and billy.
For video playing, however, I use not yet mentioned stuff: MPlayer with MPF frontend (http://mpf.dzm.hu) is the one for me for it being amazingly lightweight and is without codecs (just like VLC and GOM Player).
Unfortunately, DVD playing isn't among the strengths of MPF, therefore I also have VLC and GOM installed.
