Thankyou so much for this, as you can tell I dont know much about these things. I love your skin btw, removing those unwanted buttons etc, I replaced a couple of the background images with my own for further personalization.

But that reg file is the best, now I dont have a stupid huge empty gap at the bottom of my screen where adverts used to be. Thanks for this, much appreciated.

I installed the skin, but it doesn't work. When I change the configuration, or the appearance, and WLM restarts, nothing has changed!

Which Messenger version are you using? [start Messenger, press alt, select Help on the menu bar, and the About, it'll show you what version you're using]

2009 version.

I see it's not the 2011 version. Odd..


I'm currently letting Windows Update run in the background. I think it's gonna' (let me) update WLM.

I'll post the results as soon as it's done.

Installing WLM 2011 has somehow failed. I don't think it matters, though. I settled for My Live Messenger ^^

Though I can't really find a certain wallpaper that I always used to use before. It's a lot like the Blues wallpaper, but a more vivid skyblue and it probably doesn't have the darker patch in the top right.

You can always install Agaeti, head over to C:/Program Files/Yuna Software/Messenger Plus!/WLM-Skins/, open /Agaeti/Backgrounds/, find the one you want, and replace one at /My Live/Backgrounds/

[And yes, it will also work with custom images, just remember to replace one of the files inside the Backgrounds folder ]
