RE: openConvo (notifies when a user open/close your chat window)
first of all i personaly don't like small programs with instalation systems... they tend to install unknown other "things" and change windows config and stuff like that. and this one realy does. that error message on installation makes me think what went wrong there.... i would rather prefer to install it manually.

when i opened messenger after installing your plugin a window appear saying something about supporting you and stuff... and that's too agressive for me. i'm sorry, i understand your effort on making this, but that dialog appearing everytime i open messenger is such a bad ideia. make that info on the plugin config window.

and your plugin takes 20 times more memory than msgplus! itself.
6,3mb is still way too much (i own a very old toaster :P).

i've found out this one that takes less memory, works pretty fine and is defenetly less evasive to my system. check it out

I've had the same problem eith both versions of the plugin. I install it, everything is fine, it even works for a bit, and suddenly stops. The executable still loads, but I get no notifications. Reinstalling MSN Messenger, Plus and the plugin does no good. I know the problem is probably a conflict with something else on my PC, but I can't find a pattern. Any ideas??

Windows Version: Windows XP, 5.01.2600
Messenger Client Version: 6.2.0133
Messenger Plus! Version: 3.01.0094

PS: the plugin (when I can get it to work) is amazing. By far my favorite of all ;)

Good job wouter, just one suggestion. There are collisions with your Toasts and MSN/Plus! toasts, so possibly for less confusion could you have it popup on the left side?

It doesn't work on load, then stop.

With the previous version, it would work for a few days and then stop working altogether. I haven't been able to pin down a single event that causes it. I haven't been able to get the new version to work at all.

I'm on a high speed DSL line, directly to the modem (no lan). I do have a firewall, but wether it's enabled or disabled makes no difference. In fact, I haven't been able to note any major differences which would make the plugin stop working. Background Processes include a web ser, file sharing server, mIRC, and dyammic DNS updater.

If there's anything else you need, just let me know
