Does the panel appear if you use Roman letters (a-z) instead of Hebrew?

RE: msn big problem :(
This problem was solved on IRC; the information regarding custom emoticons was deleted from folder C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\MSN Messenger.

Thank you for writing to MSN Messenger.

I understand that you have issues with opening the custom emoticons in MSN Messenger. You mentioned that you have tried uninstalling the two msn plugs and msn messenger.

I apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced.

I would like to verify if you have successfully uninstall the two MSN plugs in your computer, with encountering any error message/s. If you did please contact the third-party add-in vendor for instructions on how to uninstall the application.

In the mean time, I recommend you to try the following:

1.To help you with your issue in customized emoticons, please delete your Application data folder by following the procedures below appropriate for your type of Operating System.

a. Click on Start
b. Click on Run
c. Type in the string below, with the username you use to log in to your computer, replacing the section

C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger

NOTE: If you do not know your user name, use any of the following:

C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Application Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger

%appdata%\Microsoft\MSN Messenger

d. Click 'OK'
e. Delete all folders that have numbers in the name.
f. Log out of MSN Messenger.
g. Log back in.

2. Please make sure you have checked the following check boxes in your "Messages" options by doing the following:

a. Start MSN Messenger.
b. On the “Tools” menu, click “Options”.
c. On the “Messages” tab, under “Message Text”,

- “Show emoticons in instant messages” check box.
- “Show custom emoticons in instant messages” check box.

Should you have other concerns, please do not hesitate to write back or you may opt to use our on-line help located at: http://messenger.msn.com/help/
