by the way, I have a small suggestion for version 1.1: would it be possible to have all the FileTransferPlus files in 1 sub-folder instead of putting them directly in Plugins' folder ? That would keep things clear, because there are currently 12 files only for FT+

Hail! i've been using this nice plug-in since 1.0BETA and enjoying it.
but now i and my friend have a little problem.since we updated it to 1.1BETA,the resume function doesnt work correct.

i send a file(name- XXX.abc) to my friend,and just cancel it.
then i send the file again,and he receives it as a new file (name -
XXX1.abc).it seems that File Transfer Plus renames the file.

when we used 1.0BETA ,we didnt have a such problem.it was
automatically overwritten.

could you plz tell me how i can fix this?

Do you have auto-accept turned on? If I remember correctly, turning it on doesn't give you the option to choose where to save your file, and if the file already exists, it appends a number to it.

Obviously this is the behaviour you want from autoaccept. What good is autoaccept if it sits there waiting for a prompt?

Aye,you remember correctly.we have auto-accept option turned on.after we turned it off,we could choose the option if it resumes
or not.

I hope next version has the option for auto-accept and resume
settings.thank you.

This *could* be a bit risky. Really resuming/overwriting/renaming should be done by a human rather than a computer. You could end up corrupting, or overwriting a file you wanted to keep.

However I expect RicarDog to have some bright idea about how to do this successfully.

Ok, I'll see if that causes any problem. If not, I'll move all files to a subfolder during installation.

I've already added that option to 1.1 Release

so hows that help file coming (You can see alot of people want this lol)

OH yes another question: Is it ok with MSN 7? Remember the "Send File" hooking i suggested and all that....

The help file is about 70% finished... it will be released in a few days if everything goes well

I haven't tried hooking with MSN 7 yet, but it should be easy to fix if it's not working...
EDIT: It's working fine in MSN 7 and Plus 3.40
