definitely the AMD Athlon 3500+ 64-bit, its just faster and more reliable, I hate the Intel CPU's, they seem to be slow and just not as good as the AMD... hence why I have an amd

I'd have to go with the AMD Athlon 3500+ 64-Bit also. My dad has the 3200+ and it runs very smoothly and moves data quickly.

yes it is, but it is suppost to be released late 2005, and there are rumors that when its released mircosoft well give ppl the option of trading there current XP licence for a XP 64 licence free.

ontopic i would get the 64 bit so long as its 939 socket so its well me easyier upgrade, cuz thats gonna be the stander for the 64 processors (wish i know that when i gots mine, i gots the 754 socket 3200+)

That's Longhorn Alpha, I think invasion meens the actual Longhorn Beta. Anyways, I'll use XP 64-bit edition AND XP Media Center edition and I'll see what I want to do when the year is up.

Anyways, I ordered my processor and motherboard last night (early boxing day sales). It IS an S939. I got an Asus A8V Delux motherboard for $15 off and it comes with a wifi adaptor for free, an AMD Athlon 3500+ for $30 off, and I also got Half-Life 2/Counter-Strike: Source and Far Cry 64-bit edition for free as a promo :0  :D

I'd buy the AMD 64-bits and get a 64bit OS (Y)
