O.P. Symbol in favourites menu
Nothing big....
This is in my favourites menu

My IE also doesn't like favicon's, but sometimes it remembers favicons, but not forever. That's why I use Firefox ;)

You can: right click on the link -> Properties -> Change Icon ;)

If you download AM-Deadlink you can automaticly let it scan ur favorites and download and save favicons :) (for IE and Opera). It can also check ur favorites for dead links etc. (IE, Opera, Mozilla, Firefox and Netscape) (check attachment)

Remember not every site has a favicon :).

I think raceprouk is true. IE can't handle favicons well :)
