O.P. Huh?  screen size
is there any software that can allow me to have a bigger desktop resolution right now i have 1024 x 768 but i want something that will allow me to have more things on my desktop,

Can't you set it by going to desktop, right click -> Properties -> Settings and set it from there?

ya if you get a good video card and/or get a big moniter there should be many more screen resolutions avaliable to your computer.

You could tweak the size of the icons in your desktop to a smaller size.

code:
Registry Settings
User Key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics]
Value Name: Shell Icon Size
Data Type: REG_SZ (String Value)
Value Data: Size in Pixels (Default = 32)

Be very carefull if you're going to do this.

no, i will just buy a new video card, but i heard that some monitors cant display certain resolutions so idk if mine will be able to do it :s :'(
which ones do you recomend from this list? i am willing to pay more than $50 no more than $100 :p i know im cheap

Yeah, i have a Geforce4 MX wich can go up to 2048 or something like that, but my ex-monitor only supported 1024x768, then i got a new one wich supports 1248x1024
