Nowhere is ahead by 18 hours. Auckland is ahead bt only 12 hours.

Actually everybody waits exactly the same amount of time, regardless of where they might be. It is just the date on the calendar and the time on the clock that will differ but the actual wait time will still be the same.

Well, a lot of translator aren't active on the forum but they do their job anyway, Patchou send them the mail for translating

I said that based on time perpective.

think of this... someone could send me an email in at 2 pm in england. but thats night 2am in auckland, that doesnt mean that i shuld stay up till 2am to get it. if i was in england i could well have read it at 2pm. i can just sleep and wake up and and get it in teh morning. which jsut means that i had a wait a little longer.. i dont even know i am making sense

Theoretically, Someone can be ahead by even 24 hours. Cos the GMT is 0hrs. auckland: +12 and some places before US upto -12hrs. so that will add upto 24 hours. <see worldtimeserver.com>

Patchou gave the time in GMT, so people can only be upto 12 hours ahead (or 12 behind, the other limit). Only if Patchou would have given a time based on a -12GMT timzezone people could be 24 hours ahead. But even then everybody would have to wait just as long before stuff releases.

They still don't have to wait any longer. They could just stop being lazy and be up 2am in the morning and still get it as soon as they can .
