RE: [Release] Convo Notifyer V1.00
When I first used this, I was very surprised when it actually worked! But it only works every now and then, it seems. Which is a shame, because it is a great script it terms of ease of use and annoyance!

Thanks for the comment.
Could you be a bit more specific about when it does and when it doesn't work?

I would if I could! Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a pattern. It worked when I first installed it, and has worked about twice in 6 or so chats. (All of the chats were with the same person, I'm not sure if this makes a difference).
Sorry that this isn't very helpful.

Ah, I see. Indeed it has to do with the fact that all chats were with the same person. For some reason, when you close a conversation window, WLM doesn't close the 'underlying' switchboard connection (the technical part of a conversation session).
Therefore, when the same remote user also closed his/her chat window and starts a new conversation with you, the same switchboard session will be used.
When all of this takes place in a period of about 5 minutes, you won't get a notification.

AHA! Yes, this was all done in a short space of time, becuase I was using polygamy to test it. The second instance when it "worked" was the same, when I was trying to recreate the scenario for you.
At first, this seems almost like a bug, or at least an unwanted feature. But actually it is great! Because if a contact closes the window, then opens it again, it won't annoy you with popups.
Brilliant script, thanks!!

Notifyer should be 'Notifier'
