i'm going to make a site, but first i need input on the concept:



how is it?

I love the gradient

But it really looks like "WLM theme."
Maybe it'll be better if you can come up with a more original one.
And I prefer the sidebar to be placed on the left because users with low resolution monitors or with small browser windows might not be able to see it.
People don't always have browser windows maximized.

one thing is that i think the link on the right are a little to close but other than that its quite good

i made it look vista-like on purpose, cuz i love its colors =P

most sites have the sidebar on the right, and if its on the left it makes me feel like a lefty ;<

you mean between the actual links or between end of links and next title? or do you mean horisontally close to the main text?

and also i think that it should be on the left hand side... i find most sites have it there

No, it doesn't.
I stand by my opinion that it should be on the left

Another valid reason: visual design classes always recommends the students to make anything top-left oriented, simply because most people in the world read from left to right, top to bottom, if you understand what I mean...
