Yeah it is nice,
But for some reason i think those links need to be at the side or underneath the header (in a box of some kinda)

It might be better for the gradient parts to be narrower....it is slightly too large proportionally.

Exactly!
Usually if something is on the right it is usually full of ads or is some useless crap IMO so it might be more useful to move the nav bar.
Apart from that the gradients look great (looks like something that Microsoft should be using but are to stupid to think it up).

Nice concept, could be easily coded only thing is that it looks more like a wordpress theme .
