RE: Which OS is better?
I like Macs, and my mother's best friend from college is the distributor of Macs in Venezuela (so I can get them pretty cheap..) but I don't like them for one thing: compatibility.

RE: Which OS is better?
Windows: Use all the time, pretty happy with it.
Mac: Never used it, apart from once at PC World (), was quite impressed but seemed a little weird.
Linux: I have Ubuntu on my other PC but I don't really likethe tbh.

BWAHAHAHA. Sorry. I just spent all day trying to configure a trackpad under Linux. Forgive me.
Windows is my Desktop OS of choice, but i still like using Mac. Linux is awesome for my server but I'm not so fond of it in a desktop environment.
Really? With Ubuntu my trackpad on my laptop was preconfigured. Even using the right-hand side to scroll up and down works perfectly.
As for Linux compatibility, I was playing Warcraft III on Linux yesterday (and probably will later tonight) because I've nerfed my Windows installation here.
I've tried messing around with a Mac at a PC shop a few weeks ago and it's too minimalistic, and to me (I might not have seen all of them), but Windows has more features and has better stability. So, Windows win.
