I am having problem with my custom sounds,  they wont play. Ican click them and they say Playing, bu no sound. Normal MSN sounds work fine but I have no clue whats happened. It's been like this for about a week.

Any IdeaS?

ive reinstalled it twice. still no sounds. They say they're playing but I dont hear anything. Any other sounds work, only Messenger Plus sounds.

Update your sound driver.

Are you saying becaue emotion sounds work? cos they dont...

They used to work but one day they all suddenly stopped.

Ive updated the drivers, still nothing.

Make sure that your Messenger Plus! Live preferences window looks vaguely similar to that of the options in this window not that any should effect it.



Also make sure you have the latest version of Messenger Plus! Live

ive reinstalled it twice, AND i do have basic computer knowledge y'know.

Is there any value named SoundDevice under

HKCU\Software\Patchou\Messenger Plus! Live\your@email.com\Preferences

in Registry. Because if it is set wrongly, Plus! cannot play its sounds.

If this value exists, delete it and try now.

Also you can try Messenger-Plus!-Tweak-Live script to change that setting easily.
