one of the first things I do on a fresh Windows install is to get all those little apps that usually run in the background and don't require much configuration..
so here's a thread for you to share and comment on some of those lesser known apps, I'll start
Hashtab -- "Hashtab... is the coolest thing ever" - it really is. Smoothest integration of file hashing I've ever seen in the Windows world (and cookie contributed to it, omfg
)
Taekwindow -- Those of you familiar with Linux will know that you can drag windows simply by alt+leftclicking on them and resize them with alt+rightclick. This tool brings this awesome functionality to Windows.
PowerMenu -- I've been using this tool for ages. Adds "Always on top", "Minimize to tray" and transparency settings to the window context menu.
