The World Tag Team Championship is the "official" title,  Thw WWE Tag Team Championship was the title created by Steph when she was GM of SmackDown so that the teams on SD had something to fight for.  The same way that there is now the WWE Championship, which was created as a Smackdown version of the World Heavyweight Championship.

Actually no she didn't make it up, the belts are from WCW and when they split the rosters they had tag team turmoils for the belts on both Raw and Smackdown.

I used to watch wrestling when I was young, but its still fun to watch the guys beat the shit out of each other, good old family entertainment
