PEOPLE FOR ONCE AND ALL!!!!
Dont look at PSP first as a console! Even if Sonyis going to promote it more as a console than a  gadget which i think is wrong.
It's much more! (read the webpage for more):refuck:

BTW Ezra posted a poll to vote between Sony PSP and Nintendo DS, if u like Sony PSP vote for it if u dont vote for Nintendo.

PSP software will come in Universal Media Disc format, which supports 1.8gb of data, despite being only 60mm in diameter. This format will offer support for movie and music files as well as games and other software, and a robust anti-piracy encryption system is touted.

So that means we cant burn movies? and will the thing support divx mpg or what?

U will be able to burn movies, music, games(made for PSP) among other things IF a piece of hardware that would be able to connect to the computer to burn on free(no data, 1.8 GB space available) UMD disks if these are available for sell too.

Actually the release date is supposed to be March 15th, and the price will be between $200 and $300  (closer to $200 for the base model, closer to $300 for the deluxe kit).

I'm talking about CAD$ :P
If you're in the US then it's like $150-$250.

I have a deluxe pack pre-ordered

And if you're wondering, you can find a list of all the games with confirmed release dates at http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/groups/psp/ .

I'm going to get the PSP deluxe kit with GT4 mobile (both already pre-ordered ):
