when I chat with other people and write  ":.)" (without the ".") the ugly smilie comes instead.
And I dont want this :\

If I choose not to show emoticons or what it's named, I cant see other peoples "smilies" + they will see a when i write ":.)".

Is there anyway i can fix this?

You could use the Plus! Word Filters.

And replace : ) with = )

Then you could use the code your used to but still show a smiley.. The smiley is a bit different though.

with the noicon command, they wont see the icon.

but then i have to write /noicon in evry sentence :C
