i got a nokia 3200 and it does what i want
i say just get the phone you want that suits your needs, theres always going to be the pros and cons, but if it does what you want then go for it
if you get a nokia phone, dont use the Nokia PC Suite, its slow and.. crap.
Use Oxygen Phone Manager -
http://www.opm-2.com instead, faster and better interface, not a bunch of separate programs
