O.P. Paint..WTF Help?
Somehow Paint has been removed from my computer and i want to bloody use it! lol i have PSP and some utha stuff but i need to use windows paint...I must have removed it while playing around with my PCI card..is there a way to get it back besides reinstalling windows?

u dont have to reinstall window completely, just reinstall paint from the windows's cd

What Windows version are you using? You could use SFC (system file checker).

If you have XP go to your "config panel", then "software", then "add/remove windows components" (note: I do not mean add/remove programs, although this is in the same dialog)...
There select "bureau-accesoires" and press on details...
Again "bureau-accesoires" and press on details...
And there you'll find "Paint", select it and press the ok buttons

In other Windows versions this is almost the same...

PS: names aren't literal as I don't have an english windows version...

are u sure it's uninstalled? maybe u just deleted the shortcuts, try going to run then typing in
"mspaint" and click ok, just to make sure. i'm not accusing u of being stupid it's just that i thought i'd uninstalled it and it just ended up that i'd lost the shortcuts.

no its uninstalled because all the shortcuts are gone and i searched my computer for paint and used run and its all gone...thanx sean although it dosnt install it but its all good

The program is not called Paint.exe, it is actually Pbrush.exe.
Do Start | Run... | pbrush

its called mspaint.exe - it doesnt need installed to run, it'll run as a standalone executable
