Scone, put the mspaint.exe in your c://windows directory and your shortcuts should work if you still have them on your start/programs/accessories....:d

:dodgy:

Sorry, to blow from the high tower, but just do as I say.

1) It is the only proper way...
2) Each Windows version has his own version of paint...
3) Copying the exe and running it wont fix all the registry keys (yes there are many keys!)...

RE: Paint..WTF Help?
Or even better, restore it with SFC:

If you have Windows XP:
Go to Start > Run, type "sfc /scannow" and press enter.

If you have Windows 9x:
Go to Start > Run, type "sfc" and press enter.
Select the second checkbox ("Extract a file..") and write "mspaint.exe" in the textbox. Click Start.
In the "Restore from" textbox, write the location from where you installed Windows, or insert the Windows CD and write the path to the CD drive.
In the "Save file in" textbox, write "X:\Program files\Accesories" (where X: is the drive where Windows is installed).
