I didn't ask a n00bish questions or say a n00bish thing - my system's sleep mode function is acting funny, and even if someone asks a n00bish thing you should always be polite.

From what you've described it doesn't sound like a problem. When you press stand by on the computer it does just that surely, puts it in standby? Are you thinking of hibernation?

no its not acting funny !! when a computer goes into sleep, it normally does "turn everthing off expect a bit of power to the main part". most people know that if you press the power button it brings your computer out of sleep mode !! alrite maybe your keyboard isn't bringing it out of stand by, but it will just be a setting somewhere

can i ask how i am been unpolite !! alrite is this last couple of posts i may not have been !! thats just coz your moanin about been treated like a n00b !! when i'm just helping!!. Just coz you think i'm insultin your intelligence doesn't mean im been unpolite.
if anything your the unpolite one sayin "i'm not a fuckin n00b", if you don't want peoples help. don't post your problem then

Yes, it IS acting funny. All the computers I've EVER had have gone out of sleep mode when you use the keyboard or mouse. And about the reputation, it's not being immature - it's the truth. And if it is hibernation that I am think of, then why does this computer behave differently? :-/

What I mean is, they did it out of the box and after a fresh windows install. Both the PCs I have now have the same version of windows, but this one doesn't wake up with the keyboard and mouse - the other one does :-/

I'm just going to stop replying to what you post now because it's pointless. You're being a jack-ass and not helping me anyways so :dodgy:.

Like DJeX said: Whoop-dee fucking doo.

Will this thing change the rest of your life? It's not extremely urgent, and besides if the computers are exactly the same, then they would work exactly the same. Therefore, one of them must be set up differently.

PS. Post your processor/mobo type.
