Good solutions if you don't add/remove/rename files which are located there much anyway. There are actually programs which do this for you in less then a second. I've used
DIR2HTML a few times. Use this program before you upload your files, it will then generate the HTML files and you can upload those along with your other files.
Name the file DIR2HTML generates index.htm and save it in the same folder as where you have the other files you want to upload to your site.
