In short i would like to have an image editor which isnt too big like adobe ps but is nice and powerful. I want to make nice sigs and avatars with it. I also wanna add some text into some pics. So can someone recommend a good one. I am on download.com but cant find anything cause they have 256 or so image editors
My choice would be like 50 - 60 mb max size (a bit here and there will do but i hate to wait for it to download) and it should be powerful and not too slow

i dunno... i'm sticking with adope photoshop... its the best thing ever... i know its a big program, but in my opinion its the best... if u have a place do get it from than i recommend it

I do but i'll get it in 1 - 1.5 months. I need it now
I know its the best but it takes a lot of time to download. I hate to wait that long Also i can get it in a disc. My friend has it. But i can go to his place only in a months time so that is when i'll get it Till then i need another softy

I have a random stats siggy. I have 10 - 15 avatars and 10 sigs. So which one were u refering too. Pm me bout it. Dont post here cause then it ought to be split. Off topic

Fireworks Has nice effects and it's simple enough to use.

Can't remember the size, though.

If you don't want the "full" photoshop, you can also get Photoshop Elements (3 is newest, I use 2). It's less complicated then Photoshop CS and it has all the mayor Photoshop functions.

Thanks a million marcus. I'll get it. tbh ps is too complicated. I'll try that and lets see how elements works. I just to make sigs, avatars n some minor changes. Also increase / decrease quality n all

They were showing cheap alternatives to many programs why dont you head to their site and have a look. www.thescreensvers.com ypu prolly wont find it but if you do its worth it

Adobe ps cs is 151.6 MB and elements 3.0 is 228.0 mb

Price i dont care bout. It needs to be a bit easy too use or i'll learn newayz but mainly it shouldnt be like 100 mb +. I can download it but it takes 4 - 5 hrs n i hate to wait that long.
If size is < 50 mb then thats awesome
