Please try do this:
Go to start menu, run, then type regedit and press enter.. navigate to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Patchou\MsgPlus2\<email>\Preferences\Plugins\countnick.dll
Replacing <email> with the msn account you use.. then see what is in the settings?.. Is Enable set to true or false, before you shutdown? After you shutdown? When you have just started it?...
Maybe it is the Delay time set to zero? or something else?...
If you keep the regedit window open, then you need to refresh by pressing F5 to see the changes..
Please check these settings and what happens on different events, and then please post again what you have noticed..

I don't know how much more work will be put into this plugin.. properly only bug fixes, there is thou 1 feature I would like to put in before I stop completly, A feature which enables the plugin to do a event on count down is reaching zero... Stop count, Change nick, Continue Count but reverse count type and change nick, etc...
