O.P. Removing Avatar/Sigs
you know what really gets to me, when forum admins remove your Avatar or sig. and don't tell you why, or evern who removed it so you can't ask them, i think when they remove it they should tell you why ther was a problem with it, so you don't do it again!

Hardly anyone reads the rules just like hardly anyone reads the license agreements.

If you send me a private message, I'll find out who removed it and let you know.

In this case, I removed your avatar because you're not allowed to use the beta tester image as your avatar. It could be misleading.

oh ok, i'll modify it so its not so misleading

i think for issues like that, where is just a matter of opinion, or perspective, the PM should be sent out to the person :)

Well, that would be quite a bit of extra work for the moderators, and I don't think they should be expected to do that, because they don't get paid or anything. :p

Also, the reasons for removing avatars are often pretty obvious. :^)

RE: Removing Avatar/Sigs
usually if they remove the sig, they say "Signature removed by moderator (reason)", so there is not really much confusion there.

Maybe there could be different avatar removed images.

for example, there could be 5 avatars or something, with general reasons for removing the avatar. i.e.

Avatar Removed
- Too big

Avatar Removed
- Filesize too big

Avatar Removed
- Offensive

etc...

example

Thats a good idea saral, it wouldn't take too much extra work either, and I'm sure that several of the users would just make the images for the admins to use, its hardly any space aswell, as you can see its like 2.33kb dz, you should take this into serious consideration, it would make people understand what not to do more.

RE: Removing Avatar/Sigs
I think no 8-) If u have a problem then u could ask dz via pm. U should know the rules so most of the time u can figure it out. Once my sig was removed cause it was 160 kb ...... the mod was kind enough to state that cause then it was clear what i needed to do.
If none of the 2 apply to u (not in the rules n no reason is stated) then u could ask dz.
So my answer is no
