Hey, was just wondering when the new vertion of MyBB comes out if they were going to upgrade the MsgPlus! forum. Just wondering cuz it's still runing or RC2.

I probably will, but it will take a couple months of work, so don't expect anything immediate...

Does anyone know when Gold will be released? I don't read the MyBB forums much anymore...

It would be nice to have features like RSS syndication which is already available in current myBBs. It would be useful to provide an XML feed at msgplus.net for updates (pulled actually from the news forum).

WDZ thinks the RSS thingy is dodgy... so i bet he'll remove it...

snake its makes it very hard to upgrade a forum like this it is very modified and unique would be good to update though if wdz stoped being so lazy

I don't think RSS is dodgy... I love it and use it all the time... just not on this board.

I just have some security concerns/paranoia. I'll keep the RSS feature if I don't find any issues with it, or maybe I'll modify it somewhat... we'll see...
