You don't have two partitions in that disk, you have one partition (C:) and 5 GB of unpartitioned space (unused).

Did you install Windows or not?

If you didn't and are still in that screen, select the C: drive and press the D key, then follow the instructions in the screen to make a new partition and give it all the available space.
This will create one partition with all the available space.

If you did, go to Start > Run, type "compmgmt.msc" and click OK.
Then go to Disk management (penultimate item in the list, above Services) and right click over the disk partitions graphic to see the options (you should right-click the unused space and select Create new partitions).
This will create another partition of 5 GB and won't touch the 70 GB one.

Those names could be different as I'm using Windows XP in Spanish and don't know what the names in English are.


And about the file transfer, the fastest and easier way would be taking out computer B's disk and connecting it to computer A, copy the files, and put it back again. However, you should do it carefully and you should know how to configure the disks as master or slave
