my WMp fails to play DVD's and tells me to change my resolution and colour settings, still doesn't work when i do that. installed latest drivers for graphics card and it still didn't like it

Perhaps you don't have a DVD decoder. Also, apparantly, WMP only plays DVDs under Windows XP. If you need more help, you might want to start a new thread.

Try reinstalling WMP 10... i had problems playing any video til i did that... and i still don't have sound on my dvd's so i just use WinDVD for dvd's and i hate it

so i just use WinDVD for dvd's and i hate it
