thing is, the time delay on getting the video checked would be ages. and how would this time be added? extra time?

I think video referees are okay, but how much further do people want to go? Once they start tracking the ball to the nearest millimetre, I think it's getting out of hand. Some guy will take his life because he lost all his money because of a goal that missed by the width of a hair.
