Can't you do it the same with just an Ethernet cord?  I think I've heard that you can.

It's possible with virtually any connection method, be it Ethernet, USB, Firewire, WiFi, IR, RS232, etc.

wtf please tell me why you dont just use a cross over cable?

shoulnt a standard usb a-a cable work? you just need software.

The cable needs to have some thingy in the middle I heard, if it looks like the one in the pic it won't work.
