I would firstly, legally put it in the posession of my grandmother. Because untill I am eighteen it is legally the property of my parents, and I know my father would waste $700,000 of it.
I then would have her give me it when I wanted to use it...
Firstly, I would pay off any family debt we could possibly have. I would then put 100,000 of it into college, I would make each of my parents sign a contract stating that they will no longer be able to move into a new residence in exchange for 100,000 to each of them (I dont want to move), I would then donate 100,000 to charity and various freeware projects.
That leaves me with...600,000...Id put 100,000 into savings for paying the bills, 100,000 into savings just so I would have a safe amount of cash to fall back on incase anything go wrong. About this point I would just be buying better computer and stuff. The rest could stay in my grandmothers posesition. Something like that...
