O.P. Slow changing from different status's
Not sure if it's messenger 7.5.0306 , mess.be patch 75306 or plus! 3.60.144 but it now takes about a minute (minimal) to change my status to change from e.g.... away to online ???

Any help would be appreitiated. (Y)

that is because XP starts using the Page File Memory... perhaps checking how much RAM is used and then Checking how much page file memory is used. You can do this using Alt + Ctrl + Del [Image: cool.gif]

This is the last thing and most remote cause of the slow changing (and even then it should never last +1 minute). And if this was the cause I'm sure nuttynovas would have said he also heared loud noises from his HDD for more than one 1 minute (as that is really something you can't miss or not notice)...

The real reason is most likely the MSN Messenger servers having some hickups lately (which is reported all over the messenger community these days)...

;)
