little problem (something steals focus every 5 min)

The easiest way for me to solve this problem would be to go to Start > Run > type msconfig

Go to Startup tab, and unselect the programs you do not think you need; and just tick the ones you need.

This happens to me all the time and this is the easiest solution for me.

msconfig does not show you all the possible startup items that is why we are having them use Autoruns by SysInternals. Please read the entire thread first :P
